Her and Eric began chatting on AOL, obviously we only have very little of their chats published.
At some point in the conversation, Eric refers to her as Jen: “gawd Jen”
In one of the chats, number 3 above, it was 9th of July 1998. She mentions leaving for three weeks and Eric mentions his diversion meeting/appointment that he was going to the following day. In his diversion files, we can tell he had a meeting on 10th of July 1998, meaning this chat was as 9th of July.
She is listed in the JCSO investigative files (page 20,207, doc JC‑001‑020207).
